In particular, BTS enjoys speaking to ARMYs through live broadcasts and Weverse. However, sometimes fans can take advantage of that, and it can greatly impact an idol.
Recently, ARMYs raised concerns after many believed BTS’s J-Hope and Jimin received calls from sasaengs (obsessive fans).
J-Hope recently stole the hearts’ of ARMYs worldwide after he became the first Korean artist to headline the American festival Lollapalooza. Unsurprisingly, he absolutely slayed the stage and was the talk of the entire event.

If that wasn’t enough, J-Hope surprised netizens by starting a live broadcast. Jimin eventually joined him to give fans some of the most heartwarming interactions possible.

At one point, they were thanking all the ARMYs who had come to watch J-Hope, particularly Jimin, who loved how many fans came out to support his hyung on such an important day.

When they finished thanking fans, Jimin seemed to have heard something as he asked, “Is someone calling you?” Yet, J-Hope didn’t seem to have had any calls as he replied, “No.”

It turns out that it was Jimin’s phone that was ringing. At first, it didn’t seem like anything out of the ordinary as he went to get the phone.

That was until Jimin suddenly said out of frame, “Don’t call me. ARMYs, don’t call.” It seems like Jimin must’ve seen that it was an unknown number and recognized that it was someone who had got his number from somewhere.

Although Jimin didn’t seem to be bothered about it after calling out the person, ARMYs online had a very different thought. It has become a common thing within K-Pop for sasaengs to buy idols’ numbers and phone them, and fans watching couldn’t help but share their anger.
Yet, it isn’t the first time ARMYs have shared their concerns for BTS members during live broadcasts.
Back in April, Jungkook surprised fans after a busy few days for the 2022 GRAMMYs and did a live broadcast. The live broadcast was done in a hotel room, and at one point, Jungkook got a call. Yet, when he went to pick it up, nobody was there.

These phone calls kept happening, but each time Jungkook went to pick it up, nobody was there, and the idol thought he was being prank-called.
Although Jimin and J-Hope stayed calm, the calls got too much for the group’s youngest member, and Jungkook called out the person who was phoning him.
