For this art related outing, he flew all the way to Switzerland. After landing and arriving at his hotel room, he addressed fans who might be wondering why he was in Switzerland in the first place. He confirmed that he flew there to attend the Art Basel; it’s always been his dream to attend the art festival, calling it the best art festival in the world with the longest history.

RM proved that going to an art exhibit to him is the equivalent of ARMYs at a BTS concert as he excitedly searched for a few of his favorite artworks. He looked ecstatic when he located pieces after searching for them, walking away with the biggest grin on his face.

On his outing, he visited Fondation Beyeler, which features the art collection of Hildy and Ernst Beyeler. There he had a chance to live like a kid again when he happened upon a massive metal slide, which he had a blast going down three times.

The slide was at the top of a glass observatory, where RM took in the surroundings. He proved his fellow group members are always on his mind when he spotted a nearby train that reminded him of the time BTS filmed their “Run” music video.

In the gardens at Fondation Beyeler, RM showed his knowledge of the arts as he expertly identified a bench designed by American artist Jenny Holzer.

He later made his way to Vitra Design Museum, which had a room of impressively designed display chairs. RM also identified a Conoid Bench, crafted by American architect, woodworker, and furniture designer George Nakashima.

When viewing the impressive collection, RM spotted a familiar name amongst the designers. RM announced the “breaking news” to viewers as he pointed out Chris Martin‘s name, jokingly claiming that the chair was made by Coldplay‘s singer-songwriter.

RM hilariously praised the rockstar for his creation, sending Chris Martin a special message to call him when he sees the vlog. It was all fun, as the chair was designed by the British furniture designer Chris Martin, not the musician.

Though he didn’t actually run into Chris Martin, it was a fun shout-out between the two respected collaborators.
