August 1: NewJeans Debut
On August 1 at 6PM KST/5AM EST, new girl group NewJeans will be making their official debut with the digital release and music video for the title track of their debut album, “Cookie”! Leading up to their debut, they came out with music videos for the pre-release songs “Attention”, “Hypeboy”, and “Hurt”.
August 3: Choi Yena Comeback
On August 3, soloist Choi Yena will be releasing her second mini-album, Smartphone, at 6PM KST/5AM EST! The title track is called “Make U Smile”, and there will be four other songs on the album.

August 5: BTS x Benny Blanco x Snoop Dogg Collaboration
On August 5, most K-Pop fans have probably heard that BTS will be releasing a new single, “Bad Decisions”, as a collaboration with Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg! It will be released at 1PM KST/12AM EST.

August 8: Girls’ Generation Comeback

August 11: WEi Japanese Debut
On August 11, WEi is set to make their Japanese debut with the mini-album Youth! The album will include both Japanese versions of their past title tracks as well as original Japanese songs.

August 16: THE BOYZ Comeback
On August 16, THE BOYZ will be releasing their seventh mini-album, which will be the first in nine months since they came out with the single album MAVERICK in November 2021.
August 22: IVE Comeback
On August 22, rookie girl group IVE is already planning to come out with their third single album, After Like, at 6PM KST/5AM EST! This will be their third release since they debuted back on December 1, 2021.

On August 25, pre-debut boy group I1IT will be making their official debut. The group consists of five members — Won, Hiroki, Takuto, Y, and Syoma — and they’re expected to promote in both South Korea and Japan.

August 31: TXT Japanese Comeback
On August 31 at 12AM JST/August 30 at 11AM EST, TXT is planning to have their Japanese comeback with their 3rd Japanese single album, GOOD BOY GONE BAD! The album will have three songs, including the Japanese version of “Good Boy Gone Bad” and two original Japanese songs.
