Recently, behind-the-scenes footage was shared of Jungkook recording his collaboration track “Left And Right” in the studio in Korea. Even without his members, Jungkook was a true professional as he recorded the song.

In the video, Jungkook shared how it felt when he was asked to collaborate with Charlie Puth.

The group’s youngest member has always been a fan of the artist, and this was reflected in his reaction. He explained, “As Charlie Puth’s fan, I listen to his music and sang along to it often.”

When I got to collaborate with him on ‘Left and Right (Feat. Jung Kook of BTS),’ I thought it was a new opportunity and I thought about how I should express my colors in it.

Throughout the video, it seemed as if Jungkook couldn’t stop praising Charlie Puth. He even described him as a “genius” and said how inspired he’s been by the singer over the years.

Jungkook then shared how the collaboration happened and how, even with his fame and talent, he wasn’t sure if he was the right choice.

It’s really amazing that I got to collaborate with him. I wasn’t sure if I should be the one to feature in the song but when Charlie and I messaged each other, he said he really loved my voice.

Although the song is amazing, for many, it’s very different and not normally the kind of music BTS would release.

Yet, there is no denying that the song works perfectly with Jungkook and the idol revealed he loved the track, adding, “It was different. He’s really experimenting with his music.”

‘That’s so cool.’ ‘That’s amazing.’ ‘I wish I could do that.’ ‘I want to be like that.’ Those were my thoughts. ‘Could I make this song sound good?’ and ‘Will our voices sound good together?’ I kept thinking about these things apart from the fact that it was a great song.
