BTS’s V Proves His Friendship With CELINE Creative Director Hedi Slimane With Personal Invitation To Attend CELINE’s Paris Fashion Show

There is no denying that BTS‘s V was the main event at CELINE‘s recent Parish fashion show. In fact, V was actually there by personal invitation from world-famous designer Hedi Slimane himself, even further cementing his social butterfly status at the event.

Having previously worked as creative director for fashion powerhouses such as Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, Hedi Slimane is truly one of the big names in the fashion industry. As of 2018, he has been the creative director for CELINE.

In a recent behind-the-scenes look at V’s getting ready process for CELINE’s show at Paris Fashion Week, V himself proved his friendship with Hedi Slimane as he revealed that he had received a personal invitation from him.

The clip, which was published by men’s fashion magazine VMAN, shows V’s effortless visuals as he is interviewed on the rooftop of The Peninsula Paris hotel before the show, where V reportedly stayed.

V explained that Hedi had personally invited him to attend. And as a supportive friend, V had really wanted to be there, saying, “I wanted to see him at his show, so here I am.”

In fact, he went on to say that he was not only excited about the show but that he was “looking forward to seeing a different side of Hedi that I haven’t seen before,” proving his genuine friendship with the designer.

And according to Korean media, Hedi Slimane also showed his extreme respect and appreciation for V, as V reportedly stayed in the Rooftop Garden Suite at The Peninsula Paris on Hedi Slimane’s invitation, which could be seen in some of V’s Instagram updates.

While V was seen having plenty of fun alongside BLACKPINK‘s Lisa and actor Park Bo Gum, there is no doubt that his head-turning presence was truly the main attraction. So much so, that owner of CELINE Bernard Arnault personally acknowledged the draw that V and Lisa’s star power has, noting the unprecedented numbers of people in the crowd. All in all, it seems like Hedi Slimane made a wise choice in inviting his friend V to the show!
