4 Of The Most Awkward Questions BTS Has Ever Been Asked

BTS are constantly doing interviews, and throughout the years, the members have been asked some strange questions. Here are 4 of the most awkward questions BTS has ever been asked.

1. When they got asked how they “deal with the girls”

In 2017, Access Hollywood did an interview with BTS and asked them several questions. One question that was asked was about how they “deal with the girls”.

The members had a humorful reaction as they just laughed at the question. Jin had quite the playful answer, as he stated, “I don’t have to think“.

RM then answered by saying that they actually don’t have time to date due to their insanely busy schedules.

2. Getting asked about a past plagiarism allegation  

During BTS’s press conference for their album MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA, a reporter asked them what many deemed was an inappropriate question. The reporter asked the members about past allegations that the concept of “Blood, Sweat, & Tears” was plagiarized from a French photographer’s work.

I brought up ‘WINGS’ and ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears’ because I wanted to know if… was it plagiar… plagiarizing? I wanted to know more about the issues brought up by the French photographer.

I know this question can be uncomfortable but I wanted to hear what you had to say.

The members were quite surprised by this sudden question. Also, the incident this reporter was talking about had happened years ago.

Suga ended up answering by telling the reporter that their agency was handling everything.

In regards to that, our company’s legal team is talking the photographer. I believe that our official stance will be the same as our company’s. Our company is currently looking into it, so I’m sure we’ll know when the results come out.

3. When they got asked if they ever “hooked up” with a fan

During their appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017, BTS were asked if they ever hooked up with a fan.

However, Ellen DeGeneres didn’t accept this answer and asked the question again.

4. Constantly getting asked about their military service

BTS have spoken about their mandatory military service many times and have always said that they will serve. In 2019, Jin stated that they’ll respond when their names are called.

As a Korean, it’s natural that someday when duty calls, we’ll be ready to respond and do our best.

However, despite them giving this answer, the members still constantly get asked about their military service. Recently, during their press conference for their album BE, the members were once again asked about their military service. Jin answered the question and stated that they will serve when their names are called and that they don’t want any special treatment.

Completing my military service is my duty as a Korean. I will absolutely follow my government. Not only me, all of us will respond to our military duty.
