TXT’s Beomgyu Has Strong Opinions On A Unique Coffee Order

TXT recently wrapped their promotions for their fourth mini album Minisode2: Thursday’s Child.

In their latest vlog update on their official YouTube channel, the members took fans behind the scenes of their final performance on Inkigayo. While backstage, they were provided a unique mixture of iced tea with a shot of espresso, and the members had some strong feelings about it.

The most outspoken member was Beomgyu, who could not wrap his head around mixing the two saying, “just have an iced Americano!“

The commotion Beomgyu was making caught the attention of his fellow members, who were curious to try the drink. While Beomgyu continued to voice his distaste, Soobin hilariously called out, “just don’t drink it then!”

When Soobin tried it himself, he understood why Beomgyu didn’t like the drink.

Yeonjun came over to join and revealed he had thought they were joking about the mixture, saying, “wait, it’s a real order and not a mistake?” To Beomgyu’s surprise, Yeonjun ended up liking the drink.

The members then tried to convince Beomgyu that he didn’t like it because the drink he tried was lukewarm. Beomgyu braved another sip of one of the colder drinks and still didn’t find it to his liking. His reasoning behind his opposition was surprisingly logical.

Beomgyu shared that he liked the sweet taste of iced tea and the bitter taste of espresso on their own but didn’t like mixing the flavors. He ended his review by saying the mixture confused him as he walked away, still drinking it.
