When it comes to some of the hottest K-Pop idols on the planet, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie is always one of the most popular names in the industry. With her immense talent, undeniable visuals, and her charming charisma, it’s sometimes hard to think that Jennie is anything like a normal person and that she was born to be a star.
Well, it seems like a recent video from the idol has proved that Jennie isn’t too different from us, especially when it comes to waking up in the morning.
Since creating her YouTube channel, “Jennyrubyjane Official,” Jennie has been treating BLINKs to all sorts of content and even some special guests in the form of her own members.

Her most recent video was something a lot of people have probably been waiting for because it was all about Jennie’s self-care routines. It includes the kind of scents she likes, the music she listens to before bed, and the routine she uses to make sure she stays in good condition.

Of course, with every routine, there has to be a loud start to the day and like everyone in the world, Jennie has to use an alarm to get up.
Yet, Jennie started by explaining that if she forgets to set her alarm, her manager usually calls to make sure she is awake! It’s another reason why she always makes sure to put on an alarm, so she doesn’t have any inconvenient calls very early in the morning.

The key to any alarm and its effectiveness is the sound, and Jennie explained that she uses the standard sound from her iPhone, describing it as “the one that gives you goosebumps.”
It’s that very common…the one that gives you goosebumps. The basic sound. It’s that default iPhone alarm, nothing special. It’s that alarm that gives you that scares you to wake up.

If that wasn’t relatable enough, Jennie then showed BLINKs her alarm app and it was definitely something a lot of people can relate to.
Rather than just a few options, there seemed to be an alarm set for almost every hour of the day at five-minute intervals, and Jennie explained that she needed a lot of alarms to get up or make sure she was on time for her different schedules.
I have it set on every time. I set like five alarms and sleep otherwise I can’t wake up. I don’t set a different one every day but choose the time instead. So, if I have to get out at 1, I would set it at 11:00, 11:10, 11:20, and 11:30.

Yet, unlike many netizens, Jennie seems to have a more healthy relationship with her alarm as she added, “But I tend to wake up on the first alarm.”

When the video was shared, Jennie’s alarm schedule caught the attention of BLINKs worldwide because of how relatable it was. Many couldn’t get over how similar their own app looked to the idol’s phone because it’s almost impossible to wake up on the first alarm.
