8 Of The Most Unique Piercings Worn By K-Pop Idols

Many K-Pop idols have piercings, with lobe piercings being the most common along with some other ear piercings. Less common, however, are piercings on other parts of the body, which makes any K-Pop idol with a non-ear piercing unique! Here are 8 idols with some of the most unique known piercings in the K-Pop industry.

1. HyunA

HyunA has a number of ear piercings, but she still shocked fans by revealing clavicle piercings back in early 2020! However, she advised fans to think carefully before getting a similar kind of piercing themselves, because they’re pretty invasive and painful.

2. Jay B (GOT7)

Jay B’s more unusual piercings have included both a nose piercing and an anti-eyebrow piercing. He’s spoken up about what body modifications mean to him, especially in a more conservative culture like South Korea.

I wanted to show people that [piercings] aren’t a bad thing or good thing, but it’s a new cultural thing. I wanted it, so I got it. It’s my body and my life. So I just did it. I get the feeling that I’m responsible for my life when I get piercings.

Yuta had fans swooning when he debuted a bellybutton piercing back in March 2020, and it’s easy to see why! Navel piercings are extremely uncommon in the K-Pop industry, especially among male idols, so it was a daring but highly fan-approved choice for the NCT member.

Hanse is an idol known for breaking the mold when it comes to beauty, fashion, and gender norms, and his use of piercings is no exception.
