2PM‘s Taecyeon is in discussions for the lead role in the upcoming K-Drama remake of popular webtoon Taereung Zombie Village.
According to an exclusive report from YTN, Taecyeon is in discussions as the male lead for the K-Drama remake of Taereung Zombie Village. Taereung Zombie Village tells the story of young people fighting against one of the greatest potential disasters of all time — a zombie apocalypse. A zombie virus has spread throughout the Taereung Athlete’s Village, where athletes are training hard for the Olympics.
Taecyeon would play the male lead role of Do Rak Gu, a leading figure in the Taereung Athlete’s Village who attempts to save as many people as he can during this apocalypse.
The original webtoon was serialized during 2017-2018. Taecyeon’s agency 51K confirmed he is in discussions to join the cast of the K-Drama.
