When it was first announced that the members of BTS would be creating their own game called BTS Island: In The SEOM, ARMYs couldn’t contain their excitement. From the very moment it was revealed, BTS emphasized that they were going to be heavily involved in the creation and development of each stage.
Unsurprisingly, it means that the characters within the game perfectly embody the members because they personally designed them and added unique traits that make them recognizable.
Ahead of the game’s release, more detailed images and descriptions of the members’ characters have been released. In particular, the notes under each of the descriptions are adorable AF and shows the intricate details that shouldn’t be missed.

2. Jin
Jin was next. The nickname “The Optimistic One” seems perfect for the group’s oldest member. According to the description, Jin is the strength and hope of the group and is always beaming with positivity. They also couldn’t forget to remind ARMYs that Jin is an amazing cook, and his character is the same by offering support to the others in the form of a hearty meal.
Jin isn’t known as worldwide handsome for no reason. The character perfectly recreates this, including making sure his “signature plump lips” are part of the character.
3. Suga
Suga‘s character is cool, calm, and collected, with the nickname “The Chill One.” With the moto that sometimes, you need to stop worrying and just relax, Suga’s real-life personality and ability to calm people down is matched with his sweetness ARMY love.
Suga seemed happy with the character from the very beginning. In particular, the character showcases his calm personality, and the idol explained that he loves how his in-game self captured his chill expression.
4. J-Hope
Everyone knows about J-Hope that he’s definitely the “Happy Virus” of BTS. As expected, it means that the energetic idol is perfectly portrayed in the animated and energetic character.
With so much excitement and emotions, J-Hope’s character perfectly showcases all of this. In particular, there is a wide range of expressions when he sulks, right down to the shape of his pouting lips. Jungkook specifically asked that J-Hope’s pout lips were included according to the descriptions.
5. Jimin
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to see that Jimin‘s character is one of the cutest things in the world. Dubbed “The Charmer” (for obvious reasons), Jimin’s charisma and charm have been described as bringing everyone together and keeping spirits high.
If that wasn’t cute enough, the small details on the character were all because of Jimin. In particular, the idol said he wanted to appear cute AF in the game and so he suggested adding blush to his character’s cheeks.
6. V
With a heart so pure, V‘s character perfectly reflects the idol’s positive and caring personality. Within the game, despite all the hardships, V’s character accepts the island as his new home and does his best to make it comfortable for everyone.
Out of all the characters, the developers explained that V has the most expressive look. In particular, they ensured that the unique giggle is based on V’s actual laugh.
7. Jungkook
The “Baby Brother” is the last one, and Jungkook’s character definitely exudes the true vibes of the idol. As the group’s baby, the character is always energetic and loves doing all sorts of activities.
When it comes to Jungkook, the idol has so many distinct features. For his character, they made sure to emphasize his deep brown eyes and made sure that they looked like stars shining in the sky.
