iKON’s Song Proves His Kind Heart When He Receives An MVP Award

Recently the YouTube channel “The Game Caterers” gathered YG Entertainment artists to film videos while playing games and interacting with each other.

The list of artists included Sechskies‘ Jiwon, AKMU‘s Chanhyuk, WINNER‘s Jinu (also known as Jinwoo) and Mino, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie, iKON‘s Jay and Song, and TREASURE‘s Hyunsuk and Jihoon. Featuring a brief appearance from WINNER’s Yoon (also known as Seungyoon).

In the most recently uploaded two videos of “The Game Caterers,” the artists formed two teams to compete in a music challenge, giving a song name after hearing only a short excerpt.

With the name of “Jennie,” one team was made up of BLACKPINK’s Jennie, iKON’s Jay and Song, and WINNER’s Jinu and Mino.

The other team, cleverly named “answer,” consisted of TREASURE’s Hyunsuk and Jihoon, AKMU’s Chanhyuk, and Sechskies’ Jiwon.

In addition to competing for different prize sets, like canned tuna and spam, the “The Game Caterers” told the artists that after the game, they would agree on an MVP, who shined the most in dancing performances.

Although all of the artists showed off their dancing skills, trying to give memorable performances so they could win the MVP’s prize…

There was one standout dancer from the beginning.

iKON’s Song didn’t miss his chance to show off his dance skills, no matter the song.

So even though, after the game was over, Sechskies’ Jiwon, who was told to give the prize to the MVP, joked that he was awarding it to himself…

To no one’s surprise, he gave the prize money to iKON’s Song.

But even though the idol admitted that he was “happy to receive” the award he had worked so hard for…

He chose to give the prize to “the rising star,” TREASURE’s Hyunsuk and Jihoon, “since they’re the youngest” and they had also worked diligently to make the show entertaining.

He suggested that the shocked Hyunsuk and Jihoon “buy some nice clothes” with the prize money.

And while WINNER’s Mino joked that Hyunsuk and Jihoon didn’t need it because “they are earning lots of money these days.”
