TWICE Members Travel Through Texas By Bus After Their Flight To Atlanta Was Canceled—Here’s Why

TWICE had to scramble to find another way to travel to Atlanta after their flight from the Dallas/Fort Worth area was canceled.
TWICE performed at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas on February 22, and they absolutely rocked it!

Mina was born in San Antonio, Texas, so the show was especially meaningful for her. The February 22 show was her first time performing in Texas, and it fulfilled her wish to perform in her birthplace. During the concert, she said, “I never thought I’d get to perform here.”

ONCEs at the concert were also praised for creating a beautiful green ocean of Candy Bong lightsticks during “Feel Special” to show their love and support for Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon was on hiatus due to injuries and anxiety, but she joined the group on tour and ONCEs are incredibly proud of her for returning to the stage.

Throughout the show, all of the members had tons of fun and enjoyed interacting with Texas ONCEs for the first time. They even performed 5 encores, which showed just how much fun they had on stage!

Unfortunately, the Dallas and Fort Worth area was hit with a winter storm on February 23. Officials did not know the storm was approaching until February 22, the day of TWICE’s concert.
Due to the storm, many flights out of the Dallas and Fort Worth area were canceled, including TWICE’s flight to Atlanta for their February 24 concert.
The members ended up traveling by bus to Austin, which is approximately 3 hours away from Fort Worth. Then, they traveled from Austin to Houston. Houston is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Austin. They finally boarded a plane to Atlanta in Houston.

Some fans spotted the members at a rest stop as they traveled to Houston to catch another flight to Atlanta.

One of TWICE’s managers posted an update on Instagram as the group attempted to make their way to Atlanta.
Sigh… The flight was cancelled so we drove 3 hours on a bus to catch a charter flight but we had to go back to Houston because it hailed there… ㅎWe can get on a flight, right?

Thankfully, TWICE made it to Atlanta safely, and they’ll be able to perform their concert as planned! We hope all the members and ONCE have a great time at the Atlanta show.
