Here Is Where All 29 Of The Contestants On “YG Treasure Box” Are Now

As most K-Pop fans should know, YG Treasure Box was a survival show produced by YG Entertainment that ran from November 2019 to January 2019 in order to determine the members for their new boy group. In total, 29 trainees under the label at the time competed on the show, with the top 12 members ending up in the group TREASURE. Some people might be curious to know, however, where the other 17 competitors ended up. Here is your answer! This is what we know about what happened to all 29 contestants on YG Treasure Box.

Team A

1. Lee Midam: Midam ended up voluntarily leaving YG Treasure Box and YG Entertainment, and joined AAP.Y Entertainment afterwards. He went on to participate on Produce X 101, where he placed 37th. Since then, he has stated that he has left the idol life entirely, and enlisted for his military service in August 2021.

2. Lee Byounggon: Byounggon left YG Entertainment in January 2019 and joined C9 Entertainment later that year. He then debuted as the leader of CIX in July 2019, now going by the stage name BX!

3. Kim Seunghun: Seunghun also ended up leaving YG Entertainment to join C9 Entertainment, and debuted alongside BX as a member of CIX.

4. Choi Hyunsuk: Hyunsuk is currently a member (and one of the leaders) of TREASURE!

5. Kim Junkyu: Junkyu is currently a member of TREASURE!

6. Bang Yedam: Yedam is currently a member of TREASURE!

7. Kim Doyoung: Doyoung is currently a member of TREASURE!

Team B

1 Park Jihoon: Jihoon is currently a member (and one of the leaders) of TREASURE!

2. Wang Jyunhao: After YG Treasure Box, Jyunhao went on to compete on Produce X 101, where he placed 58th. Later on he joined OUI Entertainment, though he also left them and now is under Dream Passport where he’s set to debut as a member of the upcoming group BUGVEL in March 2022 with the stage name Guno.

3. Kang Seokhwa: After the show ended, Seokhwa left YG Entertainment and competed in Produce X 101 as an independent trainee, where he placed 35th. In August 2019, he also joined OUI Entertainment and ended up debuting with WEi in October 2020!

4. Ha Yoonbin: Though Yoonbin was supposed to debut in the second group planned for the winners of YG Treasure Box, MAGNUM, he left YG Entertainment in December 2019. He later debuted as an independent soloist under his English name, Ben, in January 2020.

5. Jang Yunseo: Yunseo joined Cube Entertainment after leaving YG Entertainment, but ended up leaving them as well. According to his personal Instagram account, he appears to now be an actor.

6. Yoon Jaehyuk: Jaehyuk is currently a member of TREASURE!

7. Kim Sungyeon: Like many others, Sungyeon left YG Entertainment and participated on Produce X 101 as an independent trainee. He placed 45th on the show, and is now rumored to be debuting as an actor in the future.

8. Kil Dohwan: After leaving YG Entertainment, Dohwan joined RAIN Company, where he debuted as a member of Ciipher in March 2021!

Team C

1. Kim Youngue: Youngue left YG Entertainment in late 2020, and later joined IST Entertainment. Currently he is participating on the survival show The Origin – A, B, or What?.

2. Park Jeongwoo: Jeongwoo is currently a member of TREASURE!

3. Lee Inhong: Inhong also left YG Entertainment in late 2020 and ended up joining C-JeS Entertainment. It appears that he’s set to debut with their upcoming boy group.

4. Yoon Shiyoon: After leaving YG Entertainment, Shiyoon joined WM Entertainment and is currently a trainee with them.

5. Jung Junhyuk: Junhyuk left YG Entertainment as well, and seems to be living a non-idol life in Canada.

6. So Junghwan: Junghwan is currently a member of TREASURE!

7. Kim Jongseob: After leaving YG Entertainment, Jongseob joined FNC Entertainment, where he debuted as a member of P1Harmony in October 2020!

Team J

1. Kotaro: After he left YG Entertainment, Kotaro debuted a member of the Japanese co-ed group DIAVO!

2. Yoshinori: Yoshi is currently a member of TREASURE!

3. Mashiho: Mashiho is currently a member of TREASURE!

4. Mahiro: Mahiro is another former contestant who competed on Produce X 101, where he ended up placing 49th. After this, he left YG Entertainment and joined OUI Entertainment, although he ended up leaving them as well in January 2020. He then joined Dream Passport alongside Wang Jyunhao and is planning to debut with BUGVEL in March 2022.

5. Keita: After leaving YG Entertainment, Keita joined RAIN Company and debuted with Ciipher alongside Dohwan in March 2021.

6. Asahi: Asahi is currently a member of TREASURE!

7. Haruto: Haruto is currently a member of TREASURE!
