Last year, Vernon revealed in an interview with W Magazine that he is an avid listener of Charli XCX’s songs.

It didn’t take long for her to take notice and respond on Twitter, saying, “Omg hi love u and ur exceptional taste.” Unfortunately, Vernon didn’t see her tweet until several weeks later. He replied with a regretful tone.
