Since BTS V‘s latest Instagram stories with soloist Park Hyo Shin, ARMYs can’t help but notice how he’s literally “collecting all the Parks.” This cute coincidence, of having multiple friends with the last name Park, has earned him a brand new nickname from the Korean ARMYs, too!
Check out these awesome Parks that have stolen V’s heart.
1. Park Hyo Shin
Hanging out and singing along to Matt Maltese‘s “Less and Less,” soloist Park Hyo Shin is V’s newest friend with the last name Park!

2. NIve (Park Ji Soo)
Composer NIve, whose full Korean name is Park Ji Soo, became V’s friend after working on the track “Blue & Grey” for BTS’s 2021 album, BE.
BTS’s V told me that he really liked Paul Kim’s song, ‘The Reason For My Spring’ which I wrote and produced. He loved the song so much that he tweeted about it, too. He said he even asked Paul Kim to introduce him to me. That is how we got to know each other. And when we met, we realized that we share a lot in common from music to personality.

3. PSY (Park Jae Sang)
Back in 2020, PSY—whose full Korean name is Park Jae Sang—shared some cute pictures he snapped with V. Cuddling in big smiles, the two let ARMYs know that V is and will be friends with whoever comes his way!
4. Park Jihoon
Park Jihoon once shared in an episode of Happy Together that he’s a huge fan of V. Then, at the 2018 MBC Plus x Genie Music Awards, his fanboy dreams came true when V walked up to him to start a conversation and even take some pictures together. Since then, the friendship has blossomed and the two have become gaming buddies.
5. Park Seo Joon
V and actor Park Seo Joon (also known as Park Seo Jun) are part of the beloved “Wooga Squad.” Keeping the brotherhood strong since the 2016 K-Drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Park Seo Joon is one of the more well known friend in V’s “collection” of the Parks.
6. Park Hyung Sik
Idol-turned-actor Park Hyung Sik is also a part of the Wooga Squad, keeping his friendship with V going since their co-starring in the 2016 K-Drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.
V and I met on Hwarang and have been close friends ever since. We visited each other’s parents’ homes too. Our parents are also close with each other. They even went on a trip together. We’re as close as family gets.

7. Park Bo Gum
Park Bo Gum and V immediately hit it off and became best friends after meeting for the first time on Music Bank. From traveling together to supporting each other at concerts and fan meetings, this handsome Park makes for one explosively visual pair with V!
8. Jimin (Park Ji Min)
Of them all, though, V’s teammate Jimin (whose full Korean name is Park Ji Min) is perhaps the “OG Park.” Dubbed soulmates for life, #VMin have been—and will remain—friends forever.
Now that we’ve spent so much time together. But the thing is, to become like us you have to spend this much time together. I think that’s what being “friends” means. We still have a lot more to build and more things to learn. So I believe we have room for improvement.
