Like many idols of the new generations, the members of ENHYPEN have been inspired by BTS and hold them in high esteem as role models. And Jay hasn’t been shy about how much he admires them.
On more than one occasion, Jay has revealed that Jimin is the fashion icon and performer he aspires to be like. The group as a whole has been just as inspirational, with Jay sharing which song inspired him to become the idol that he is today.
During an interview with California radio station KIIS FM, host EJ asked the members when they realized their dream to become a singer. Sunghoon shared his well-known experience of attending a BTS concert that changed his life forever and wasn’t the only one with a BTS memory to share.

Jay named BTS’s 2016 hit from their second full-length album WINGS. He said, “I think I first dreamt of becoming an artist after listening to BTS’s ‘Blood Sweat & Tears” and being overwhelmed by their amazing performance.”
