BTS Suga’s Gains Attention For Being Honest About His Dreams, And His Words Have Become A Source Of Comfort For ARMYs

Since debuting in 2013, BTS has taken over the world and gained millions of fans worldwide with the members’ talent, visuals, and charming personalities. However, one of the things that ARMYs love the most about BTS is their honesty and the fact that they don’t hide the part of them that is so real and that people relate to.

In particular, member Suga has recently gained attention from fans after something he said in an interview with GQ Magazine.

The topic of Suga’s interview seemed to focus on the idea of dreams. The interviewer asked Suga what topics, aside from the concept of dreams, reality, loneliness, did the group still want to write about. Despite “dreams” being mentioned, Suga explained that this would always be in the songs.

For many people, dreams are almost seen as goals that need to be achieved and vital to growing up. Yet, GQ knew all about Suga’s approach to dreams and asked him about his philosophy that, “It’s okay to not have a dream.”

Although Suga is known as one of the quieter members of BTS, his words have so much meaning as he explained that there should be no pressure to have dreams.

Dreams are just dreams. When I say it’s okay to not have a dream, it’s because you don’t really need one. You shouldn’t have to struggle so much in order to live your life.

Looking at the billions of people in the world, Suga then touched upon the pressures put on young people nowadays to have their lives set or plans put in place for a future that is always changing.

He also showcased just how much he knows about ARMYs worldwide and the stresses they go through, adding, “It’s often suggested that they’ve failed if they don’t start out on a particular path or continue along as expected…” but he had the perfect advice for those worrying.

But as you live, you realize life doesn’t work that way. It would be good if children and youth didn’t blame themselves too much, because it’s not their fault.

For Suga, he made it clear in the interview that not having dreams shouldn’t be something you feel ashamed of despite all of these expectations.

In particular, he explained that there shouldn’t be a point where you feel the need to compare dreams to others because each person is unique.
