Netizens Are Shocked By Videos Showing The Aftermath Of NewJeans’ “2023 Lollapalooza” Performance
NewJeans recently made history as the first female K-Pop artists to perform at the iconic Lollapalooza, but it was the aftermath of the performance that shocked fans and cemented the group’s “Main Event” status.
Unsurprisingly, NewJeans stole the show with their 12-song performance set. From the very start to the end, they kept the audiences involved with their high energy, flawless talent, and ethereal visuals.
Aside from the amazing performances, the scale of the crowds shocked netizens as it seemed like the audience was neverending with fans as far as the eye could see.
As amazing as the performance was, the aftermath of the group’s set showcases the legendary status of the rookie idols. During festivals, it’s normal for those attending to get to the venue early to get the perfect spot for their favorite artist.
Yet, netizens attending noticed that as soon as NewJeans’ set finished, the crowds quickly dispersed. It meant that everyone who was in the crowd was there for NewJeans and chose to leave as soon as the performance ended.

In particular, while someone online tried to claim it was because nobody was playing at the stage until an hour later, a fan who shared her own video pointed out that NewJeans’ fans were lining up from 11AM, and while other acts performed, nobody left the crowd.

Another fan explained that while everyone cleared up, although it might seem normal for a festival, the OP pointed out that they’d never seen such huge crowds for a show at midday.
