Actor Lee Do Hyun Announces His Military Enlistment Date

Actor Lee Do Hyun will be enlisting for his mandatory military service.

The beloved actor, known for The Glory, Sweet Home, 18 Again, and The Good Bad Mother, is preparing for more than just his fanmeeting on August 5. Ahead of his first fanmeeting, it was revealed that he would soon enlist.

Korean news sources reported on August 3 that Lee Do Hyun would soon enlist to fulfill his military duties. The actor’s agency, Yuehua Entertainment, responded to the reports, confirming the news in an official statement.

He will join the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) military band, beginning his training on August 14. As Lee Do Hyun’s enlistment is private, fans are asked to refrain from visiting.

Lee Do Hyun will be enlisting on the 14th, getting his basic training at the new recruits center and then completing his military service as a part of the military band for the Korean Air Force. He will not be holding any events on the day of the enlistment. And since the enlistment ceremony is a time and space for all the other new recruits and their families, too, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the base.
