Who Is She? The Identity Of BLACKPINK Jennie’s Mystery BFF At Paris Fashion Week Is Revealed

BLACKPINK‘s Jennie might be one of the busiest idols in the industry, but she has managed to find time to balance her work with meeting her friends. The idol has always cemented her status as a true “Social Butterfly,” showing off her friendship with global celebrities.

Well, it seems like a friendship seen during Paris Fashion Week has sparked netizens to ask, “Who is Jennie’s friend?”

Jennie recently shone after making an appearance at the Chanel show as the brand’s ambassador. When arriving at the show, Jennie wowed everyone with her dazzling visuals and charisma, dressed in a beautiful white dress and matching coat.

Yet, aside from Jennie’s stunning visuals, netizens noticed another Korean celebrity who kept appearing in the images of Jennie at the show and also on the idol’s Instagram.

Throughout the evening, a beautiful woman appeared with Jennie at random moments throughout the event. At one point, Jennie was seen holding the hands of the person, and she then started whispering in the idol’s ear.

Later a photo was posted of the duo together, and they both showcased dazzling visuals and charms.

Rather than just some random person, it seems like Jennie has a special connection to the model, as seen from an Instagram story posted by the idol. In the video, the person seen with Jennie before the show was walking on the catwalk, and the caption read, “She found me again this time.”

The “she” turned out to be the Korean model  Hyun Ji Shin.

The model first caught the attention of netizens after she won Korea’s Next Top Model in 2013. Since then, Hyun Ji Shin has modeled for some of the biggest brands and, aside from Chanel, has worked for Prada, DKNY, and Burberry.

Even after the show ended, Jennie and  Hyu Ji Shin were seen at the French brand Jacquesmus store flaunting their friendship.

Although it might seem like an odd friendship, it might all stem from Jennie’s bond with model and actress Jung Ho Yeon. Throughout the years, the two have shared several memories with netizens.

Jung Ho Yeon was actually on the same series of Korea’s Next Top Model with Shin Hyun Ji, and the two are firm friends, having worked together on projects for years. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if Jennie and Shin Hyun Ji became close through their mutual friend Jung Ho Yeon.

Yet, if they met through Jung Ho Yeon, the friendship can stand alone after Shin Hyun Ji even shared a photo of the two to celebrate Jennie’s birthday.

There is no doubt that many BLINKs are jealous of Shin Hyun Ji being around Jennie, but it’s truly heartwarming to see the idol enjoying some time with her friends.
