On December 4, Yulhee revealed that she and FTISLAND‘s Minhwan would be ending their marriage. In a statement, Yulhee shared that after many conversations, both she and Minhwan felt it was best to go their separate ways.

Today, I am sorry for coming to you guys with heavy news, but I am writing this to tell you in person. After many efforts and conversations, we have decided to go our separate ways.

In her statement, Yulhee also shared that Minhwan would be getting custody of the couple’s three children but that the idol would do her best to be in their lives.

After a lengthy discussion to lessen the psychological toll on the children, we decided it was right for them to continue to stay where they are, and therefore, the children are currently staying with their father. I am spending as much time with the children as possible so that they don’t feel my absence.
