Yet, a recent photoshoot has seen member Haerin stand out, with netizens criticizing her unconventional look among the rest of the group.

NewJeans were appointed as the promotional ambassador for 2023 F/W Seoul Fashion Week. It showcased their “Monster Rookie” status, and the photos allowed each member to shine in unique outfits.

On January 16, new photos of the group were posted ahead of Seoul Fashion Week.

Yet, while many fans couldn’t get enough of the outfits and how much the idols had matured, Haerin’s look received mixed reactions from netizens. While most of the members had long and elegant looks, Haerin’s seemed more experimental and abstract.

They combined two different pieces.

Although some netizens loved it and thought Haerin “ate it up,” some shared that it was her visuals that let the unconventional look shine, especially when it was so different from the other members.
